Photography Workshop
PORTRAIT

PUEBLA
August 27

In this video I'll tell you about the Portrait Workshop

In this workshop you will learn to connect with the subject to be photographed, to discover who they are and then, using technical, communicational and aesthetic resources, to photograph them in a unique way.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVE:

To introduce participants to portraiture as a photographic genre. It's not enough to simply know how to position the subject, the screens, or the flashes; it's also important to understand the reasons behind it.

A photographer specializing in social events or portraits must understand the essence of portraiture. It's not simply about photographing people; it's about capturing the subject's personality. There are technical, conceptual, and aesthetic considerations to keep in mind.

Participants should bring a camera and flash if they have one, as a large part of the workshop will consist of practical exercises designed to apply the theory covered, with all its variations. The goal is for each participant to take home 3 or 4 photos taken during the workshop.
